Got it Covered!: The Indelible Melting Cowboy#1, Frankenspy #1 and Sateena Desade #1

  1. I really love how you have captured the old school 60s vibe with these covers while also updating them. These are very fun and I can't wait to read them!

  2. Thanks! I am glad you noticed the silver age 60's vibe, as all the stuff from that era is really a big influence on me. And you are right that I did try to take the old school vibe but still make it look modern. Actually, it is kind of a hodgepodge of styles and nods to all different eras. Like if you notice the stripe I have running across the top of every issue that says "A Moose Comics Adventure strip Magazine"-that is a nod to the stripe Marvel comics used to put on the top of every book back in the 70's that said "Marvel Comics Group". The logo with the MC is also a nod to the old school DC bullet logo.
Hopefully by mixing enough references and nods to different eras I've kind of made a new hybrid modern retro thingy style. I will keep you posted on when the first issues will be ready. I think I am going to wait to post them until I get the official Moose Comics website up and running.
